Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Find Your Signal collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.
Effective date: August 20, 2026
Information we collect
When you contact us, we may collect your name, email address, inquiry category, optional message, and—only if you choose to share it—the high-level result of your Find Your Signal assessment. We do not receive your individual assessment answers.
Our systems also create limited operational information, including inquiry and event identifiers, timestamps, workflow status, email conversation records, and scheduling records. For abuse prevention, the contact form uses an IP-derived hashed rate-limit bucket. Hosting providers may also process standard access-log information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested URLs, and timestamps.
How information is collected
We collect information directly from you when you submit the contact form, email us, reply to a message, or coordinate an appointment. Technical and operational data is generated when the website and its supporting services process those interactions.
How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, understand the type of support requested, coordinate services and appointments, maintain conversation continuity, protect the website from abuse, troubleshoot operations, and meet legal or security obligations. A contact inquiry authorizes a direct response to that inquiry; it is not consent to a newsletter or unrelated marketing campaign.
Service providers and other recipients
We use service providers that process information on our behalf for defined operational purposes. These include:
- Website hosting and infrastructure service providers that host the site, store inquiry records, maintain supporting systems, and process routine service logs.
- Email and communications providers that deliver and retain correspondence.
- Scheduling and productivity providers that support availability checks and appointment coordination.
- Automated processing and technology service providers that support the human-reviewed workflow described below.
- Security and abuse-prevention providers that help protect the site and its services.
We may also disclose information to professional or legal advisers, or to government authorities, when reasonably necessary to obtain advice, protect rights or safety, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process.
Automated assistance and human review
Automated systems may assist with organizing inquiries, summarizing communications, preparing draft responses, and coordinating scheduling. The current workflow retains human review and approval before an outbound communication is sent or an appointment is created. These systems are not used to make consequential eligibility, medical, employment, lending, or similar decisions.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not currently use advertising trackers or behavioral analytics trackers.
- You do not need an account to use the assessment.
- Your individual assessment answers are not transmitted with a contact inquiry. You may choose to share only your optional high-level assessment result.
Cookies and tracking
At the time this policy was last updated, this website does not intentionally use analytics or advertising cookies, behavioral advertising pixels, browser fingerprinting, local storage, or session storage. The site currently uses a third-party font-delivery service. When a browser requests those font files, that provider may receive ordinary request information such as an IP address, browser details, and request time. If our practices change, we will update this notice and introduce meaningful choices where required.
Retention
Our initial operational retention periods are 24 months after the last meaningful interaction for contact inquiries and email/conversation state; 24 months for scheduling and appointment records; 90 days for general application logs; up to 12 months for security or audit logs that do not contain full message bodies; and 30–90 days for synthetic or test data where operationally practical. We may retain information longer when reasonably necessary for security, dispute resolution, legal obligations, or to preserve records you ask us to maintain. These periods are reviewed as the business and its legal obligations evolve.
Security
We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to limit access and protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, authentication measures, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete information associated with your inquiry, subject to legal, security, and operational exceptions. You may also ask us to stop a conversation. Contact hello@findyoursignal.me. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
California privacy information
Find Your Signal is a new business and, based on current business facts, is not expected to meet the thresholds that generally determine whether the California Consumer Privacy Act applies. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will reassess applicable obligations if the business, data volume, or practices change. California residents may still contact us with privacy questions or requests using the address above.
Children’s privacy
This website and its services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us so we can review and address it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The effective date above will identify the current version. Material changes will be presented in a reasonable manner.
